Michelle has worked as a musical theatre performer in the Denver area for the past 22 years. Most recent/favorite roles include: Sister Mary Amnesia, NUNSENSE; Peggy, THE TAFFETAS, A TAFFETA CHRISTMAS; Lucy, NARNIA; Agnes, I DO! I DO!; Nancy, OLIVER! Michelle also specializes in teaching and performing in Children's Theatre.
Musical Director Dutch Miller
Dutch is a Denver-born singer, arranger, teacher and director of music. He produces sound tracks for advertisers. He sings with a popular a cappella group called Cool Shooz; another called Vojo, and plays guitar in a rock band known as Cut to the Chase. He is Music Director and a member of the Original Dickens Carolers; teaches voice; and is a respected church choir director. He was a ten-year member of the Opera Colorado Chorus and recently appeared with the Colorado Symphony Orchestra in Bernstein’s Mass. He lives and works in Golden with his wife and two children. Above all, he is committed to the human voice as the most beautiful instrument of all, and harmony as a way of life.
Our Performers
Each Original Dickens Carolers Quartet consists of four characters:
Felicity, the lovely soprano is...the belle of the ball, and with her captivating smile, she is the "hostess with the mostess." Always wants to be the center of attention, and usually is.
Pip is, the perky Alto is...a poor little beggar and pickpocket, caught one day by the Governor. Gov soon discovered that Pip could actually sing, so instead of begging and stealing she sings for her supper.
Sebastian, the dashing Tenor is...one who fanices himself quite the ladies man. He is charming and fun, always flirting with the ladies, and likes to tease Pip.
Governor, the commanding Bass is...the man in charge. He is a proper gentleman who likes to boss the others around.
